Calvert Hall junior midfield Stephen Kelly has committed to play Division I lacrosse at the University of North Carolina.

Academic honors: 4.0 GPA, Honor Roll, McMullen Scholar

What will you major in/study? Undecided maybe business

Why did you choose UNC? “North Carolina has an outstanding program and coaching staff, along with a beautiful campus and great people. Also, I will have the opportunity to play with my brother for a year who is a sophomore at UNC now and three years with my cousin who is going there next year.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We are going to have a very good team with every starter except one coming back and we have a ton of depth. Last year we lost in the championship which was a huge disappointment, so this year we expect nothing less than a MIAA championship.”
