Men’s recruit: Calvert Hall senior attackman Pearce commits to Bucknell

Calvert Hall senior attackman Brett Pearce has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Bucknell University.

Major lacrosse honors: Brine Shootout Championship, Bison Brawl Championship, Bison Brawl All-Star selection, 2 time NDP Tournament of Champions Championship

Academic honors, service projects: McMullen Scholar, National Honor Society, Honor Roll each semester, 4.0 GPA, Peer Educator, Tutor

What will you major in/study? Engineering

Why did you choose Bucknell? “I chose Bucknell first and foremost because of the school’s strong academic profile. Academics is something that is very important to me so I wanted the school to reflect that. Combined with the school’s strong athletic focus, I really believe that Bucknell is the best fit for me as a person and player.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We have a very strong returning core of players and so there are high expectations for us. We need to work hard as a group and stay focused on our goal of winning the MIAA championship.”

Additional comments: “I really want to thank all my coaches at Calvert Hall, from Fresh/Soph to Varsity, who have been instructive and supportive in helping me develop and further my skills to get me to where I am today.”
