Men’s recruit: Broadneck senior LSM Dunn commits to High Point

Broadneck senior LSM James Dunn has committed to play Division I lacrosse at High Point University.

Club Affiliation: Roughriders Elite

Major lacrosse honors: Rising Senior Top 205 All-Star team, Adidas All-Star team, Adidas Maryland Public team, Dirty 66, Baltimore Kick-off All-Star, ESPN Rise LSM ranked #16, NSCLA All-American, Free State Top 44 team, Roughrider summer and fall record 44-4

Academic honors, other interestes: Honor Roll 9-11 grade, 5 AP courses, Unified Bowling team

What will you major in/study? International Business

Why did you choose High Point? “I knew High Point was the right choice for me the second I saw the campus. I loved the facilities and the staff was extremely nice. Coach (Jon) Torpey and Coach (Pat) Tracy are both inspirational people that I want to be coached by for four years.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “This year our High School team’s outlook is to go undefeated in our county and hopefully deep into the playoffs. We are a young team with only a couple of starting seniors. We’ll be looking for some juniors to step up and play some big roles.”
