Loyola Blakefield senior attackman Austin Ty Stewart has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Lynchburg College.

Why did you choose Lynchburg? “I felt at home when I visited Lynchburg. Coach (Steve) Koudelka has created a great program and I can’t wait to get down there and continue the tradition. Lynchburg also has a great athletic training program.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We are returning a very big, experienced Senior class and we hope to be very successful and be competing for a title this year.”
Additional comments: “I would like to thank my club coaches Kevin Mayer and Kyle Hannan for all the hard work they do getting all of their players the exposure they need. I would also like to thank Coaches (Jack) Crawford and (Joe) McFadden from Loyola for helping me to develop my skills and preparing me for the next level.
