Boys’ lacrosse: Boys’ Latin opens with 18-5 victory over Memphis University School (TN)

Host Boys’ Latin opened its lacrosse season in style today as it routed Memphis University School (TN), 18-5.

Junior attackman Colin Heacock had four goals and an assist and sophomore Shack Stanwick added three goals and three assists for the Lakers, who bolted to an 11-1 halftime lead.

The Lakers also dominated at the face-off X as Hunter Moreland and Bryan Lichtenauer were a combined 25 of 27 on the draw. Each went 12 of 13 Boys’ Latin goalie Kolby Caplin had 5 saves in three quarters to earn the win.
