“It was an incredible game and so much fun to play,” said Rohr, the senior middie headed to Penn. “They’re a great team and I can’t give them enough credit.

Haverford School coach John Nostrant was pleased with his team’s overall play.

“They (the Dons) were very good and they are a senior-laden, well-coached team,” he said. “We got four man-up goals, which is unusual in Baltimore, but we’ll take them.

“We kind of held on at the end. We were up two (6-4) and gave them one with about four minutes to go. We had a couple bad possessions and they had a chance at the end. The defense played pretty well the whole game and I thought both teams couldn’t decide who would play worse in the first half.”

Deemer Class (one assist) and Conor Dalton each scored twice for the Dons. Devon McNamara added a goal and an assist.
