Why did you choose McKendree? “I really did not know much about McKendree until Coach Brittany Poist former MD Terp and I started communicating. She really won me over with her ambitious, bubbly attitude. She really has her goals set out for the season, and plans to do what it takes to meet them. That’s the type of attitude I look forward to being coached by. She really fits in well with the McKendree Family, their motto “Be Inspired, Live Inspired” It just shows that its more then just educating our youth but inspiring them to do great things! When she told me what she was looking for in a potential player I knew I would fit right in!”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “This year is really a developing year for our team. We are pretty young, only having around 5 upperclassmen. We have so much potential for a group of mostly new players, that’s what will make our season even better. The possibilities are all what we will make of our great opportunity.”

Additional Comments: “I really would like to thank my parents, Mary & Larry for always pushing me to try my best, without them I wouldn’t be where I am today! To my CCLAX Coaches for pushing me to my limits. Also to my Athletic Director Jamie Cook & Athletic Trainer Allison Pulver for always believing in me, and really showing me my full potential! Last but not least my friends for always sticking by my side.”
