Loyola overwhelmed Boys’ Latin and now sit atop the BaltimoreLacrosseNews.com rankings, followed by Gilman.

With Calvert Hall’s OT loss to McDonogh on Friday, the Cardinals bump down to No. 3 in this week’s power rankings. While this may seem controversial, McDonogh has four losses compared to Calvert Hall’s two defeats, one of which was to current national No. 1 Conestoga (Pa.), who will drop from that spot after Saturday’s loss.

“Judgment Week” is in front of us and will clear things up in a big way. Between now and Friday, notable games include Gilman-Calvert Hall, McDonogh-Loyola, St. Mary’s-Boys’ Latin and Loyola-Calvert Hall.

The Top 10

1. Loyola Blakefield (10-1)
2. Gilman (6-1)
3. McDonogh (5-4)
4. Calvert Hall (7-2)
5. St. Mary’s (8-2)
6. Severn (13-1)
7. Boys’ Latin (7-5)
8. Hereford (7-1)
9. South River (7-0)
10. Severna Park (6-2)
