Shack Stanwick had four goals and two assists as host Boys’ Latin won its fifth straight game today by defeating St. Paul’s, 15-3, in MIAA action.

The Lakers (12-5 overall, 5-2 MIAA) led just 4-2 at halftime, but BL erupted for six goals in the third period to seize a 10-2 lead. The Lakers controlled the game at the face-off X, winning two-thirds of the draws.

BL also controlled the groundballs winning 63% of the take. The game got a bit physical towards the end of the third and into the fourth when multiple penalties were called. BL converted four of five man-up advantages, while St. Paul’s was only successful on one out of five.

Casey Reese and Greg Pyke each scored twice while Colin Heacock had a goal and two assists for Boys’ Latin. Christian Knight had 10 saves.
