McDonogh School capped off a third straight undefeated season on Sunday by edging Maryvale Prep, 12-11, in the IAAM Conference A finals. The victory finished an 18-0 season and stretched the Eagles win streak to 69 games.

Maryvale Prep, which earned a 9-7 upset win over Bryn Mawr in the semifinals, moved up to the No. 2 spot based on its brilliant performance in the semis and finals, when it took McDonogh to the limit. Nobody had come within less than seven goals of the Eagles all year.
