A number of Baltimore players helped the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) National team win its second straight U18 gold medal Wednesday at the Lake Placid Lacrosse tournament by defeating Liberty (N.Y.), 8-7 in the finals.
FCA won the U18 championship at Lake Placid
Dylan Maltz (Stone Bridge, VA/Syracuse) scored three goals and earned MVP honors while Stephen Kelly (Calvert Hall, MD/North Carolina) was dominant at the face-off X as FCA rallied from an early 3-1 deficit.
FCA toppled Coldbrook Lake (N.Y.) in the semifinals, 10-7.
