Bronxville (N.Y.) sophomore attackman Henry Grass has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University.

Henry Grass log:

Henry Grass

High School: Bronxville High School

Graduation Year: 2015

Position:
Attack

College Choice: Johns Hopkins University

Club Affiliation: FCA U-15 National Team, Westchester Predators

Major lacrosse honors: 8th grade varsity starter All Section Honorable Mention, 9th grade All section, Nike Blue Chip Jake Reed, Maverik Showtime All-Star game. MVP Rider All-Star game.

Why did you choose the school? “I wanted to go to a school that competes for a national championship year in and year out. Also, I was visiting schools that were very good academically and close to home. The fact that my brother is going to attend Johns Hopkins University was also a huge factor. I loved the coaching staff, campus and facilities as well.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season?
“We graduated four players and one returning offensive starter so our offense is going to be better then the past two years. Our goalie is coming back along with the whole defense besides one close defenseman. We have high expectations and hopefully we can exceed those goals.”

Other comments: “I would like to Thank Mike McCall, my club team coach, and Tim Horgan, my High School team coach.”
