What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Florida? “Florida had everything I was looking for in a school. I loved Coach Mandee (Amanda O’Leary) and Erica (LaGrow) and how they have turned the team into a national contender in 3 short years. The facilities are the best in the country. The academic programs and support are amazing and the weather is great. I felt right at home and half the team is from Maryland.”

Outlook for your high school team next season? “I am excited for our team next year. We graduated some very good Seniors but Coach (Shannon) Dean will work us hard and have us ready. We will play another very tough out of state schedule so we are all looking forward to the challenge.”

Additional comments: “First, I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunities I have had in my life so far.

“Also, my coaches at TLC – Kelly Swift, Maura Hilgartner and Britt Kalkstein – for helping me to improve as a player. TLC Director Mike Farrell for all of his support and advice to me and my parents through the recruiting process. Coach Dean at Vero for making my sister and I welcome in a new town. Rob Slade for the hours of training and encouragement. And especially my parents for their sacrifice and support.

“Our family moved from Baltimore to Vero Beach, FL last fall. My sister and I went to NDP. My brother still lives in Baltimore, attends Boys’ Latin, and will play for Notre Dame next year.”
