Boys’ recruit: Georgetown Prep junior midfielder Golden commits to Hofstra

Georgetown Prep junior midfielder Tim Golden has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Hofstra University.

Major lacrosse honors: Top 205 All-Star, Brine Shootout, Free State, Brine National Lacrosse Classic, Baltimore Kick-Off, UPLAX

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose Hofstra? “After my second visit I felt it was a good fit for me. They have a good business school and I like the location. Coach Seth Tierney is an outstanding coach, they play a tough schedule and the facilities are first class.”

Outlook for your HS team next season? “We should contend for the IAC Championship as we have a lot of talent. We need to work hard this winter as our league is very competitive and we play a tough schedule.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my parents for all their support and for providing me the opportunities to play in events. Thank you to my coaches who have been great, since I started playing when I was 5-years old.”
