Atholton senior midfielder Kyle Courtney has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Furman University.

What will you major in/study? Pre- Law
Why did you choose Furman? “Furman is the perfect size for me as a student and provided me with all the academic options to be successful. It’s a beautiful campus with awesome weather all the time.
“Greenville is a great city to be near with a lot of things to do. I was also extremely excited to be a part of a brand new program and also be coached by a legend in Richie Meade.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We should be very successful this year. We have a lot of key returning players and a great coaching staff. We should be the Dark Horse team this year and surprise a lot of people. I cant wait for the season!”
Additional Comments: “My Club coach, Lee Corrigan, was a tremendous resource in the recruiting process. My Mom and Dad were huge supporters of my lacrosse dreams and provided me with every avenue to achieve those dreams.”
