Boys’ recruit: St. Paul’s School junior attackman Wynne commits to Cornell

St. Paul’s School junior attackman Mikey Wynne has made a commitment to the admissions at Cornell University.

Position: Attack

College Choice: Cornell University

Club affiliation: Rock Elite 2014

Major lacrosse honors: 2 time team offensive MVP, State Champion 2011, State Finalist 2012, 83 points freshman year (Glenelg), 93 sophomore year (Glenelg), Brine National All-American team (All-Star) last summer, All-Star UPlax, All-Star King of the Hill

Academic honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Cornell? “I couldn’t pass up the Ivy League education, family atmosphere, great coaching staff and team members.”

HS team outlook for next season? “Want an MIAA Championship.”

Additional comments: “Thank you Mom and Dad for always being there for me and to my brothers for teaching me over the years.
