Boys’ recruit: Glenelg Country School 2014 LSM Parker commits to Cabrini

Glenelg Country School rising senior LSM Emory Parker has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Cabrini College.

Major lacrosse honors: 2012 Blue Chip 225 Elite Rising Junior Camp All-Star Team, 4 year member of Chesapeake Rock 2014 Premier, Member of the FCA U17 National Team that earned 2nd place at the 2013 Dicks Tournament of Champions, 2 year High School Team Captain and 4 year varsity starter

What will you major in/study: Business- Sports Management

Why did you choose school: “I chose to commit to Cabrini College for the opportunity to play for one of the top teams in Division III. The entire coaching staff is great, I really liked Coach (Steve) Colfer and Coach (Nick) Taylor when I visited. Cabrini offered what I wanted academically.”

Outlook for your high school team: “We will be competing for a playoff spot in the MIAA B Conference.”

I would like to thank my Glenelg Country coaches, Risto Worthington, Kevin Boland, and Jason Born for helping me work on my defense and teaching me to work hard everyday at lacrosse. I would like to thank my parents for all they have done for me during this process and supporting me with my dream of playing college lacrosse.”
