Boys’ recruit: Georgetown Prep 2016 midfielder Lindsay commits to Duke

Georgetown Prep rising sophomore midfielder Terry Lindsay has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Duke University.

Academic honors: Dean’s List

Intended major: Undecided, possibly Medicine or Finance

Why did you choose school: “Playing lacrosse at Duke has been a goal of mine since grade school. It has the combination of strong academics, athletics, and an opportunity to win a National Championship. Coach (John) Danowski and his staff made me feel welcome and right at home.”

Looking back at 2013 and ahead to 2014: “Last season was a tough one for Georgetown Prep as we lost a couple of close games. The majority of our team returns this year. In 2014 we have a great opportunity to win our IAC conference.”

“I’d like to thank my family for all their support and encouragement. Georgetown Prep’s head coach, Kevin Giblin, has been a guiding influence and a strong advocate for me.
