Skylar Grady

High School: Arundel Senior High School, Gambrills, Maryland

Graduation Year: 2016

Position: Midfield

College Choice: United States Naval Academy

Club Affiliation: Integrity Lacrosse Club

Major lacrosse honors: 2013 Arundel High School Varsity Lacrosse Rookie of the Year

What will you major in/study? Undecided/Cyber Security or Forensic Science

Why did you choose U.S.N.A.? “I chose NAVY because no other college has what they offer. I will get a high level education, graduate debt free and have a guaranteed job that will allow me to see the world. All that and I get to play for Coach (Cindy) Timchal. No collegiate lacrosse coach (men’s or women’s) has more wins than Coach Timchal! I am in the perfect situation for school and LAX.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “Arundel is looking to be very competitive in arguably the toughest county for LAX in MD. The last 7 yrs. straight the Maryland (4A-3A) State Champion has come from our division. We are looking to close the gap and keep the Championship in AA County.”

Additional Comments: “I want to thank Integrity Lacrosse for developing me and giving me the skills I have today. I would not have been noticed by NAVY if it wasn’t for them.

“I also want to thank my parents for all their support and helping me in the sport I love!”
