JT Bugliosi

High school: Calvert Hall

Graduation year: 2017

Position: Attack

College choice: The Ohio State University

Club affiliation: FCA 2017-Blue

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: The Fall Terrapin Classic and UP Lax with FCA and Calvert Hall, MYLA All-Star, and this summer will be attending Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip

What will you major in/study: Business

Why did you choose school:
“I chose Ohio State because academics are very important to me and Ohio State is an outstanding academic institution with one of the top business schools in the country. The lacrosse program is quickly becoming a national power and is ready to consistently compete for Big 10 and National Championships. I really had a great connection with the coaching staff especially Coach (Nick) Myers and Coach (Dave) Dobbins. It was obvious to me that they care about their players as students, people, and lacrosse players. Ohio State gives me the chance to have the full college experience, the facilities are second to none and will provide me every opportunity to become the best player possible. I knew that I wanted to be a Buckeye as soon as I visited. I feel that Ohio State will make me the best person, student, and lacrosse player that I can be.”

Outlook for your high school team: “Our team will be very young this year, especially playing in the MIAA. We return some key players and Coach Kelly and his staff will make sure we are ready to make a run at an MIAA championship.”

Other comments: “I’d like to thank my parents and my family for everything they have done for me. I’d also like to thank Coach Kelly and Coach Huntley for helping me during the recruiting process. Finally, I’d like to thank the coaches at The Ohio State University for providing me with this tremendous opportunity.”
