Maggie Schneidereith

High School: Towson High School

Graduation Year: 2016

Position: Attack

College Choice: Johns Hopkins University

Club Affiliation: M&D lacrosse club

Major lacrosse honors: Under Armour Uncommitted team, Lax Inception, National Draw, and Club National Champions

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Johns Hopkins? “I chose Hopkins because not only can I play at the highest level of lacrosse but I can also get a world class education. The coaches are amazing and they really focus on helping you develop on and off the field. Personal development is a high priority for them and it will help me succeed both on and off the field.

“Hopkins has always been a school I’ve loved ever since I was little and right when I stepped into the Cordish Lacrosse Center I knew it was the right school for me.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We only lost 4 seniors last year, 2 of which are playing Division 1 lacrosse now. This year I’m expecting our team to be even stronger and work even harder to reach our goal of being State Champions.”

Thank You: “Thank you Coach Tucker, Coach Tara, and Coach Stanwick for seeing my potential as a lacrosse player, as a student, and as a person. Without them none of this would’ve happened.

“All of my M&D coaches for helping me through this process and supporting me on and off the field. My High School Coaches for helping me grow not only as a player but a person too. All of my teammates who have supported me and who have been amazing friends throughout the past couple years. Last but not least my family, who have always been there for me no matter what.”

Other schools considered: University of Florida, Towson University, Princeton University, Penn State, Syracuse
