The first game faces off at 5:30 pm between Baltimore’s St. Paul’s School (4-2) and The Haverford School (3-2) from Philadelphia. The second game pits Baltimore’s McDonogh School (6-1) against Gonzaga College High School (4-3) from Washington, D.C. at 7:30 pm.

McDonogh is ranked No. 3 in the Warrior/TopLaxRecruits North America Rankings while Haverford School is No. 14. Both St. Paul’s and Gonzaga have been ranked for at least one week this year. Both teams are listed as Under Consideration this week.

“This is a great event its going to be a great experience for the schools and players involved.” said St. Paul’s coach Rick Brocato. “I wish when I was a young player to play at a great facility like Loyola University. This will be a really exciting event.”

“Just being at Loyola (University) and having our guys play at that venue it’s going to be exciting.” added Haverford School coach John Nostrant. “Playing against St. Paul’s is a measuring stick for us, so how you do against a Rick Brocato coached team will tell you how you’re going to do.”

Said Gonzaga coach Casey O’Neill: “I think at the end of the day, we all do this as coaches, for the kids. I think the experience these kids are going to get, playing in the college stadium and having this media attention, is outstanding.”

Said McDonogh coach Andy Hilgartner: “It’s going to be a great event. It’s going to be a great experience for the whole Baltimore lacrosse community.”
