St. Paul’s School for Girls sophomore midfielder Haley Wells has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Coastal Carolina University.

Major lacrosse honors: Baltimore Metro Team for US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament

What will you major in/study? Marine Biology

Why did you choose Coastal Carolina? “I love the team, coaches and the location of the school. It is an up and coming lacrosse program in a strong conference. Coastal also has a strong Marine Biology program that I am interested in pursuing.”

Outlook for your High School team? “SPSG is a young team and we have had a lot of injuries in the 2014 season. For 2015, I expect us to be more experienced and hopefully compete for an IAAM conference title.”
