IAAM B Conference: Friends wins second championship in three years

The Friends school dominated throughout all four quarters on Sunday as the Quakers defeated Glenelg Country School 18-6 to claim the IAAM B Conference championship on Mother’s Day at Stevenson University. The title victory is the programs second in three years.

Junior midfielder Kalie Saudek led the way with four goals while Rachel Kehoe, Irene Lunt, and Abby Corkum had three goals games for the Quakers.

“It’s awesome we worked very hard for this,” said Kehoe. “Great effort and (great) team win.”

Friends finish the season 17-1 and Glenelg Country ends the season 12-5.

Indian Creek claimed the C Conference title with a 14-13 win over Oldfields.
