What will you major in/study? undecided

Why did you choose school? “Chestertown is far enough away from home yet not too far that I can’t easily go home. Washington College has a gorgeous campus with top of the line facilities. I’m going to get a great education and will have lots of chances to find work out of college with help from alumni who are eager to give back. The atmosphere I pick up from the team really appealed to me. The coaches and players all have a drive to be a dominant force and it’s evident that they’re achieving their goal. It also helps that my high school coach is a WAC alumni and constantly talked up the place.”

Outlook for your High School team? “We’ve graduated a lot of seniors that made up a dominating offense which means we are expecting a lot of guys to step up. We have three of last year’s four starters (including myself) returning on the defensive end, as well as our LSM. This being said, our defense will be the base of our team and we will have to out-athlete other teams on offense. We expect to continue Wootton’s historically excellent program and go far into the playoffs.”

Other comments: “My parents have been one of the biggest factors to my success. They put in the type of effort and support I want to give to my kids. I’ve had numerous club coaches that have devoted the summers to improving my game and putting me in positions to be seen. The Wootton lacrosse community before I arrived in high school had a tremendous affect on me. As a little kid, I looked up to the great players and even greater people that Coach Thompson produced from his team.”

Other schools considered: Gettysburg, Dickinson, York, Amherst
