Celebrating its eight year of bring the nation’s top middle and high school lacrosse players together for a three-day event of competition and camaraderie, the Brine National Lacrosse Classic and Brine National Lacrosse Academy will be held on June 29-July 2, 2015.Brine-National-Lacrosse-Classic

Leading up to the Brine National Lacrosse Classic are regional tryouts held in key markets across the country to find the best talent to spotlight at the national event. The 2015 registration is now open.

In 2014, more than 6,000 players attended Brine regional tryouts. Of this talent pool, 1,900 middle and high school boys and girls from 29 states were selected to participate in the 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic facilitated by more than 125 coaches from the top programs in the nation.

“Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing team sports in the United States, and the Brine National Lacrosse Classic ensures we have coverage at the elite athletic level,” said Grant Wasch, Retail and Event Marketing Manager for Brine Warrior Sports. “Our tagline, ‘National recognition starts here’ shows our commitment to recognizing key performers for their current accomplishments and positioning them for future academic and athletic success on a much higher level.”

“More than 50 former Brine National Lacrosse Classic players participated in the 2014 NCAA Lacrosse Championship, with a total of 115 playing in the first round and quarterfinals,” added Joel Franklin, Founder of Level 2 Sports and the Brine National Lacrosse Classic. “This truly demonstrates the potential for the middle and high school boys and girls competing in our tournament.”

Brine regional tryouts, scheduled to take place across the country, enable players to test and benchmark their lacrosse skills and athletic ability against the top players for an opportunity to advance to the Brine National Lacrosse Classic where players represent their region and State and compete for a national championship.

Brine Pride Lacrosse Series

In select markets, the Pride Lacrosse Series enables more players an opportunity to qualify for their state and regional teams. Pride Lacrosse Series will be played in Long Island NY, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New England, New Jersey, Virginia, Texas and New York. Players must be selected from Brine regional tryouts to advance.
