Why did you choose Coast Guard Academy? “Attending a service academy has been my top goal for college since about ninth grade.

“After researching all of the academies my junior year, it became clear that the United States Coast Guard Academy was the best fit. After attending AIM this past summer (CGA’s summer seminar), I knew without a doubt that the Coast Guard Academy was where I wanted to be. The mission of the Coast Guard and the curriculum offered at the Academy best match my military career goals. I am excited to be part of a great lacrosse program.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “I’m looking forward to another successful season at Broadneck. Our defense will be strong with three returning starters and two solid goalies. We have the speed and skill on offense to be very competitive this year. Broadneck will also have some great new talent on the team, giving us good depth.”

Thank You: “I’m really grateful to my family who have supported and encouraged my goals both on and off the lacrosse field.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to be coached by people who were more than just excellent lacrosse coaches, but mentors as well. Thank you especially to Coach Keith Thomas, who will always be that one lacrosse coach that developed me into the person and player I am today.

“Finally, thank you to my teammates at Broadneck. I can’t imagine spending the past four years on the field with a better group of guys.”

Other schools considered: Navy, Boston
