From Press Release

Canada is a powerhouse in box lacrosse and its national sport is lacrosse. The players are now, more than ever, competing for roster spots in top US college lacrosse programs and Canada last year won the international FIL tournament in Denver.

We launched a high school challenge last year and the games were very close at every grad year. Of the three grad years, Stars and Stripes was victorious in two and was defeated in one of the grad years, but all games were close.

This year, we are seeking to sweep and we will be hosting tryouts throughout the Northeast hotbeds to identify the strongest players seeking to compete.

Attention all lacrosse players seeking to compete on the international level in grad years 2016, 2017 and 2018:

Last year, we introduced an international battle between Team Stars and Stripes (USA) vs.
Team Maple Leafs (Canada).

The excitement and competition was so exciting that the demand to expand this experience has been overwhelming.

This summer, team Stars and Stripes will once again compete against team Maple Leafs.

Due to demand, we are further considering having players elect to play for Team Shamrocks (Ireland) and Team Gladiators (Italy) as we assemble the international field to compete.

This is not a college recruiting event, but it is expected to have a strong turnout of college coaches attend and we will provide college coaches player information.

Tryouts for the Team Stars and Stripes, Team Shamrocks and Team Gladiators will take place in select venues throughout Eastern USA.

After teams are selected, the teams will compete on July 27-28th in a fantastic international competition in upstate, New York.
