Why did you choose JMU: “James Madison is the perfect academic and athletic fit for me. From the moment I stepped on campus, I could feel the spirit and pride everyone has for the school. After spending time with the coaches, players and commits during my visits and at camp, I loved seeing how much the team is a family on and off the field and just knew JMU was the place I wanted to call home in 2017.”

Thoughts on your high school season: “This year Decatur played in the State Championship game against Century. We had a heartbreaking loss, but being there was such an amazing accomplishment for our team. Losing six seniors, each one a leader and contributor all over the field, we know we have some pretty big shoes to fill. This season it won’t just be about working hard, it’ll be about building team chemistry and leadership and really working together to create our own path to states.”

Thank You: “I would like to say thank you to all of my coaches throughout the years, especially Fred Yesko, my Dad, Bev Altig, Paul Billingsley and Bob Musitano. I would not be the player I am today without their coaching and support. Thank you to my Mom and Dad for the many hours spent on the sidelines watching my games and traveling all over the earth for tournaments, camps and visits. Thank you to my MD United, SDHS and Sea Bay teammates for being fierce competitors and the best friends I could ask for, especially my big sister Payton who is my biggest cheerleader. I could not imagine the last 10 years of playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse without her pep talks, love and encouragement. And last but not least, I want to thank head coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe for seeing so much potential in me as a lacrosse player, student and person, and for the awesome opportunity to be a part of the JMU family in 2017. Go Dukes!”
