Glenelg Country School 2017 attackman Nelson LeQuang has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Stevenson University.

What will you major in/study? Business/Biology

Why did you choose Stevenson? “My brother is currently on the Stevenson Lacrosse Team and he gave me the idea to look there.

“Every time I have been on campus I have loved it. I love Stevenson’s style of play. Also Coach (Paul) Cantabene is a great coach. I also love the fact that it is close to home. That way my parents can come see my games.

“I have attended almost all of the Stevenson games for the past two seasons and I love the exciting atmosphere in Mustang Stadium.”

Outlook for 2016 HS season? “I hope my high school has a successful season and we make it to the MIAA B Championship.”

Thank You: “I’m thankful that Coach Cantabene recruited me and has given me the opportunity to play lacrosse at Stevenson University. I also would like to thank my parents for supporting me throughout my lacrosse career. I would like to thank my father for coaching me for many years and teaching me the game. I would like to thank my mother for cheering me on and never missing one of my games.
