Registration is now open for the MD Roughriders 2016/2017 season tryouts on Aug. 21 and 28.
Tryouts for the Maryland 2021-2025 teams will take place at Glenelg Country School on August 21st & 28th. Time block is 11:30-7:30. Exact times TBA!
Glenelg Country School is located at 12793 Folly Quart Rd., Ellicott City, MD 21042.
Tryouts for the Maryland 2020-2018 teams will take place at Troy Park at Elkridge, on August 21st & 28th. Time block is 12-6. Exact times TBA!
Troy Park is located at 6500 Mansion Lane, Elkridge, MD 21075.
At the High School level, teams will compete in the month of November at the top tournaments along with a handful of practices. In the winter months, players will get the opportunity to participate in training sessions leading into the high school season. Once the high school seasons conclude teams will practice two times a week heading into a competitive summer schedule with 4-to-5 tournaments.
The Maryland Roughrider Youth teams feature elite coaching, fundamental-based practices, clinics, and ample amount of field time throughout the entire year. Teams will practice 4-to-5 times in the fall months and compete in 2-ti-3 tournaments. As 2017 gets underway players will have the opportunity to compete in winter indoor, and spring leagues, and will be guided through player development, positional training, and other individual workouts.
The summer season will consist of 4-to-5 tournaments in the area with 1-to-2 travel tournaments. The Roughrider Lacrosse Club is providing a full commitment curriculum come spring time to meet the needs of the player and maximize their development, both individually, and as a team.
